Football More Important Than Family

While surfing on ESPN today I came across this article. It seems that the Minnesota Vikings thinks it's more important for their wide receiver to be at the game than to make funeral arrangements for his grandmother. I understand that it is important for their players to be at the games during the season, as the article pointed out many times, but like the author said some things should be overlooked. It the guy decided to stay a couple days in South Carolina to tend to his family and fly in members in the armed services and a brother in a coma, surely they can overlook this. While it is important that he be at his job, some things are more important, and I respect Troy Williamson for seeing that.
